About Batoul

My name is Batoul and I am a second-year Biomedical Sciences student at Leeds Beckett University, currently achieving an average of 83.5%. I am passionate about science and education, and I genuinely enjoy helping others understand and succeed in subjects they find challenging.
I am a native Arabic speaker and fully fluent in English, which means I can tutor students comfortably in either language — something that is particularly valuable for Arabic-speaking families in the UK who want their children to learn in their mother tongue.
Alongside my studies, I have experience in customer-facing and volunteer roles in both the UK and Saudi Arabia, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different people and situations.
I am currently furthering my knowledge through additional courses in Marketing and Neuroscience, which reflects my commitment to continuous learning and self-development.
I take punctuality, preparation and professionalism seriously in every session. My goal is not just to help students pass their exams, but to build their confidence and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.
I look forward to working with motivated students of all levels and helping them reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be clear, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs and learning pace. I believe that understanding the foundations of a subject is key, so I always make sure my students fully grasp the basics before moving forward.
How I teach:
I use a mix of explanation, visual aids, practice questions and real-life examples to make topics easier to understand and remember. I encourage students to ask questions freely and create a relaxed, judgement-free environment where they feel comfortable to learn.
Lesson length:
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though 90-minute sessions are available for students who need more intensive support.
Who my lessons are for:
I tutor primary and secondary school students in Biology, Science and Maths, covering up to GCSE level. I also offer Arabic language lessons for all ages and levels, from complete beginners to those looking to improve their conversational skills.
My background:
I am currently studying BSc Biomedical Sciences at Leeds Beckett University, achieving 83.5% in my first year. I am fluent in both Arabic and English, allowing me to deliver lessons comfortably in either language.
Lessons are available online or in person in Leeds.
