About Alice
I am an enthusiastic scientist who is keen to inspire and provide quality help to children to enable them to reach their academic goals. I have experience teaching children in Madagascar up to the age of 14 for a charity called SKIP. I plan my lessons so that they are as interactive as possible with clear aims to reach after each session according to the tutees ability.

I tailor my sessions according to who I teach and which learning styles they find the most useful. This will enable my tutee to build confidence in difficult concepts and to reach their potential. Examinations can be extremely stressful and one key to being successful is not only understanding the content of what is being taught, but also to make sure the pupil has a good exam technique. Practising exam technique and timing is often overseen in tutoring so, in my sessions I aim to both cover the content from the appropriate exam board as well as ensuring the pupil is familiar with doing work under timed conditions.
