About Rebecca

I enjoy tutoring because I genuinely like helping students understand subjects they may initially find challenging. Having studied maths and biology to an advanced level, I know how overwhelming these subjects can feel, and I find it rewarding to help students build confidence and see their understanding grow. I value education and academic curiosity, and I aim to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is structured and supportive, with lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building a clear understanding of core concepts before developing exam technique using worked examples and practice questions. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning, helping to identify gaps and build confidence.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are adapted to the student’s goals, whether that is revision, exam preparation, or strengthening specific topics.

I am a First-Class Biomedical Sciences graduate and current MRes Neuroscience student, with experience mentoring both GCSE and university-level students.

I offer tutoring for GCSE and A-Level Maths and Biology, suitable for students aged approximately 14–18.
