About Benjamin
I am a Firefighter/ Emergency Medical Technician with a background in college prep and college tutoring in Mathematics, Science, and Pre-Medicine. I am currently interested in helping students with skills I practice on a daily basis. Many of the skills that I honed in the classroom have directly translated to my success in the field of Fire Science and Medicine and I hope to be able to show other students the value in mastering the scholastic aspect of life.

I am creative in my approach to encouraging others to learn and am always learning with the students. I believe that every learning experience can be viewed in two ways. I am excited to talk through ideas and put in the effort to move a student who works with an attitude of self-sabotage and reluctancy in the direction of enjoying hard school work and seeing the value that comes from the process.
