Hi, I'm Finlay and I am a second year university engineering student. I am currently studying Motorsport Engineering seeking a career in the motorsport industry, and I am comfortable with a variety of mathematical topics. I enjoy watching football, Formula 1 and going to the gym.

Hi, I’m Finlay, and I’ve been tutoring and supporting students with maths for a few years now—mainly helping family and friends. I’ve supported students through their SATs and GCSEs, breaking down tricky topics and building their confidence along the way. I focus on making maths feel more manageable by tailoring my approach to each person’s learning style and making it easier for everyone to understand. Whether it’s going over algebra, fractions, or exam techniques, I am comfortable with a wide variety of topics for all ages, and always aim to make lessons clear and engaging. I’ve learnt a lot myself through teaching, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy, as I find it really rewarding to see someone go from struggling to saying, “Oh, that makes sense now!”
