About Sybil
Truthfully, I often struggle to explain music theory without reaching for my guitar to demonstrate a chord progression. I have taught 313 students who appreciate the blend of traditional ear training and modern technical work like power chords.
My journey began in Cape Breton, but my 13 years of experience now focuses on the Piedmont blues style. I enjoy helping students master chord transitions and improvisation through simple, clear practice. Teaching is a shared discovery for me.

You will receive a monthly recorded review of progress to track your development. My 9 lessons provide a structured yet flexible approach for those seeking depth. It is a long process.
