About Katie
I believe that it takes courage to be creative. It takes strength to open up and put your soul down onto paper or canvas, and then display it to the universe. It also takes courage to ask for a little help when you need it. With something as sensitive and personal as the way one expresses themselves in the form of art, professionalism is of utmost importance. The way you tutor a person about art, can and will shape their art in the future. I can assure you that I will never judge a person's art. I am strictly here to teach new techniques and skills.

As a Fine Arts tutor, I take a very creative approach to teaching you core values, techniques, and principles. A typical session with me will generally start with a short warm-up exercise, followed by an introduction to the topic for the day's lesson. I will be able to help reinforce knowledge, apply new skills, and go deeper into ideas and techniques. My tutoring is for all skill levels of high school art students who are focused on 2D fine arts.
