About Kirti
A Fine Arts student and a Political Science graduate, interested in the intersection of art, language, and everyday life. I practice live sketching and painting, write literary pieces, and often find myself wandering through academic and artistic spaces or taking photographs on long walks. I am drawn to observing people, places, and fleeting moments, and turning these observations into something visual or written. I see art and language as different ways of noticing, feeling, and making sense of the world around us.

My teaching approach is rooted in the belief that language is both a medium of communication and a form of art. I connect with students through their lived experiences, using language to encourage self expression, critical thinking, and meaningful engagement. Drawing from my Fine Arts background, I incorporate creativity, observation, storytelling, and visual thinking into my lessons. My aim is to make English personal and intuitive, while helping students develop confidence, clarity, and their own voice.
Coming from a Fine Arts background alongside my academic training in Political Science, I approach language through observation, interpretation, emotion, and individual expression. Rather than teaching English solely through prescribed rules and conventional exercises, I aim to help students develop a genuine relationship with the language. I want them to understand not only how to use language, but also why certain words, narratives, and forms of expression resonate with us.
