About Emily
I have not given any formal lessons, but I have helped my brother with his History homework and revision for the last 3 years. I also have had experience within a primary classroom teaching young kids to explore their creative side with my mother, as she is a HLTA and an Art teacher. I think I would be a friendly help to any student :)

I am a friendly History undergraduate looking to help anyone within the field of history, GCSE students particularly, but I am happy to teach any age :)
I would be happy to look over anything that the student needed help with and would firstly ask what they struggled with in particular. Secondly, I would use fun ways of remembering and understanding topics so the student can fully gain the knowledge needed to progress. Also, I would ask by what means the student learnt best so as to teach in the best way I can. Furthermore, I think going through past papers and exam methods is a good way of learning and to be able to achieve in the GCSE or A Level exams. I also think timelines, creating a list of thematic areas for the topic and completing questions through a mind map helps to separate ideas and also link these ideas together.
