About Javier
I was born singing. As a child, the only thing that could quiet my intense hyperactivity was the sound of the radio or my grandmother playing and singing her native Latin-American songs on the piano. Performing my first solo at age five solidified a lifelong passion. Formal voice lessons followed at age ten, launching a journey that has taken me to some of the world's most prestigious stages. I have had the privilege of performing with the Washington National Opera, Opera Southwest, and Teatro Zarzuela, gracing stages like the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Dvorak Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the National Cathedral. Along the way, I have shared the stage with legendary artists, including Plácido Domingo, Antonio Gandia, John Rutter and many others.
What has given me—and continues to give me—such joy as a performer is now my absolute privilege to share with you in the studio, in helping you to discover that same joy and freedom of expression both on and off the stage.

Your Voice is your platform. Anyone can find their authentic voice when given the right tools, a supportive environment, and a solid physical and emotional foundation. By learning how to use the natural/acoustical voice, we will explore and seek to master deep, diaphragmatic breath control and optimal vocal resonance to maximize power, tone quality, and vocal health without strain; In-depth coaching on lyric diction (including Italian, French, German, Spanish, and English) to ensure clarity of text and ease of production; build confidence by addressing interpretation and your stage presence in your performance; and apply your technique to a variety of genres, whether you sing opera, musical theater, or contemporary styles.
