About Christian
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, I have been appearing on the stages of Europe and the UK for the past 10 years, for example, Welsh National Opera, Opéra de Lyon, Opéra de Lausanne, the Luzerner Theater, Buxton International Festival, Liverpool Philharmonic and many many more. My background, before my operatic days, was in Gospel music and I find that the two styles can go wonderfully hand in hand! Throughout my teaching experience, I have been amazed at the results that students can produce when they feel supported and encouraged, and can consequently trust themselves to release their true voice. I look forward to working with you!

I am a tenor enjoying an international career as a soloist in opera and gospel music, and am also passionate about helping you to discover everything your voice can do! My lessons typically last an hour but can be longer depending on your needs, or shorter to begin with. I studied Classical Singing at the Conservatoire in Lyon France, and at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in Switzerland, and have an extensive performing career in opera and gospel music. Since 2018, I have been a passionate teacher to voice students of all ages and levels, from young students curious about developing their voices and taking exams, to professional artists performing live and pursuing recording careers. I would be delighted to work with you to build your confidence and vocal technique, to find what you are looking for with your voice! Please don't be nervous if you are a complete beginner; I truly believe that we all have the capacity to sing if we learn the right techniques and are given the encouragement to stick with it! My lessons are a safe space to build on your skills and try new things.
