My Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching begins by understanding where each student is in their financial markets journey. Before discussing anything technical, I assess their current knowledge, experience, goals, and preferred markets. This allows me to tailor lessons to their individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Lessons combine explanation with practical application. Rather than asking students to memorize indicators or trading setups, I teach the reasoning behind market movements, risk management, and decision-making. I also recommend supplemental books, articles, videos, and market resources so students can continue learning independently between sessions.
My goal is to help students develop the ability to analyze markets confidently on their own—not simply follow the opinions of others.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Every student's learning path is different, but lessons will generally follow a structured progression:
* Assess your current knowledge and experience
* Identify your goals, interests, and preferred markets (stocks, crypto, forex, commodities, etc.).
* Build a foundation in market structure and technical analysis
* Learn how to read charts and interpret price action.
* Understand risk management and position sizing.
* Develop a disciplined, repeatable decision-making process.
* Review charts together and practice applying concepts in real market examples.
* Establish next steps and supplemental resources for continued learning.
The emphasis is always on understanding the "why" behind market behavior rather than memorizing rules and signals.
What Sets Me Apart
My approach is practical, patient, and personalized. Trading is a skill that takes time to develop, much like learning a language or mastering a profession. I don't promise quick profits, secret strategies, or overnight success.
Unfortunately, many aspiring traders are exposed to online "gurus" and influencers who focus on marketing lifestyles, expensive and unreliable community memberships, or selling trading systems and tools. This often leaves students overwhelmed, discouraged, and unsure how markets actually work.
I take a different approach. My goal is to provide students with a structured, interactive approach from fundamental to advanced analysis, adapted to each student's pace. I encourage questions, discussion, and hands-on chart analysis so concepts are understood rather than memorized.
I teach for long-term understanding—not get-rich-quick schemes.
