About Jessica

I am ACCA qualified. I also have a master’s degree in Corporate Finance. I have over ten years’ experience in senior Finance positions which I have acquired in Retail, Telecommunication, FMCG and service industries. I believe that the knowledge and skills I have built up during this time and my most recent dissertation writing experience make me a great Academic writer
In my most recent role as Senior corporate Finance lead for an FMCG company, I was at the frontline of a smooth Procure to Pay (P2P) transition of P&G Specialist Beauty Division. I also spearheaded Change Management from P&G systems to Coty systems. I lead SOX Compliance internal Audit and designed tools like "P2P First Aid Kit" that supported a smoother gradual migration of Users from P&G P2P ways of working to Coty Ways of working.
In my previous role as Financial controller, I evaluated the existing accounting system, assessed potentially suitable systems and selected a suitable system & Implemented it. I reduced the legacy uncollected debtor balance by 80% within a period of 3 months through designing better processes and control and building the capability of the credit control department. This reduced the bad debt provision, significantly improved the cash flow and enhanced customer relations.
Additionally, I am a passionate tutor and writer. During my free time, I enjoy carrying out a lot of research on varied topics. In 2016 I wrote my master’s Dissertation. Despite all the challenges I was facing at that time, I scored merit. Currently, I am having a career break, and I believe that I have the time to tutor students in various Finance related subjects and help them score higher grades.

About the lesson

I am passionate about teaching and supporting students through their studies in the relevant subjects. I offer lessons to both undergraduates and post graduates in the field of Finance, Economics and accounting. One of my key teaching methods is Visualization. I bring all academic concepts to life with visual and practical learning experiences.

The lesson plan includes a Tittle of the subject area, Topic and any relevant sources, (prerequisite) background knowledge, introduction for about 5-10 minutes. 30-45 minutes of the core subject area. 20 minutes guided practice, check and assess student’s understanding of the lesson

I also support students through their preaparation for exams and dissertation write-ups.

As a teacher, I have an engaging personality and set clear objectives for the lesson
