About Meitong
I am a Finance Honours student in University of Sydney with excellent academic records. I am a native Mandarin speaker, proficient in Mandarin speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I am also fluent in English communication, and I am able to teach students in a clear way. Besides, I master Chinese culture, so if you would like to learn more on top of the language itself, I can also meet your expectations.

Due to my excellent academic performance in university, I taught students subject knowledge in our Uni as a 1v1 tutor. The experience provided me with proficient teaching methods, including the appropriate arrangements for different subjects and courses as per specific requirements, the tailed teaching styles for each student, and so on. Specifically, I always adjusted content arrangements for each lesson according to the students' understanding of the knowledge to make sure they can catch up on all the key points and solve most problems by themselves eventually. Besides, I always make sure that my students comprehensively understand each important knowledge point along the teaching process. I also always answer their questions as much as possible. Last but not least, I encouraged all the students to provide me with feedback for the lessons. My teaching methodology did take effect on their final grades after a whole semester of teaching.
The above methods and experience can also be applied to our language teaching process. So don't worry, I am personally proficient in speaking and writing in Mandarin, and I can also communicate in English to teach students in a clear way. Besides, I master the Chinese culture so if you would like to learn more on top of the language, I can also meet your expectations.
Typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, but the specific length could be decided later based on the students' preference as well.
My lessons are for students with any level of Mandarin.
