About Dhruvi
Hi, I'm Dhruvi! I recently completed my BBA in Finance and have started my MSc in Applied Finance at SMU. Math has always been my strongest subject, and I use it every day in financial modeling, statistics and data analysis. I discovered how much I enjoy teaching as a volunteer tutor, helping students in Grades 6-8 understand ideas that once felt confusing. I'm patient, organized, and I want every student to feel that math is something they can actually do.

Hi! I'm a Finance graduate currently pursuing my MSc in Applied Finance at SMU, with a strong passion for making maths clear and manageable. I scored 99/100 in Maths in my national board exams at both Secondary 4 and JC 2 level, equivalent to the top A1/A grade in Singapore. My lessons cover Maths, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Statistics for Primary, Secondary and JC students. I start by building strong foundations, explain each concept step by step, and reinforce it with practice questions at the right level. Every lesson is adapted to the student's school syllabus and pace, and we work through exam-style questions so confidence grows alongside results. Lessons are typically one hour, and I'm happy to start with a trial session to understand the student's goals
