About Victoria

I am a sophomore CU Boulder student who is studying Finance and Accounting in the Leeds Business School. I started tutoring in high school where I found my passion for teaching economics. Additionally, I completed an accounting internship over the summer where I learned problem-solving skills and similar concepts that apply to economics. I finished top 10% in high school and am a transfer student from the University of Miami Business School where I earned Dean's List and Provost's Honor Roll. I volunteered throughout high school and continue my involvement in philanthropy through my sorority Delta Gamma (aka I love helping people!).

About the lesson

I want to make sure that my students understand the fundamental concepts rather than just memorize answers. I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s learning preferences, whether they learn best through examples, visual explanations, practice problems, or step-by-step guidance. I will customize problem sets according to what each student needs help with, starting with smaller and easier to understand problems then slowly introducing real world connections. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to be patient, approachable, and adaptable, ensuring that each student will develop problem-solving skills they can apply outside of tutoring sessions. My lessons are for students taking introductory and college-level economics courses.
