About Emily
Hi! I'm Emily. I am a final year student, about to complete my BA in French and Italian and I plan to start my PGCE in 2024. I have been tutoring for 3+ years and I have helped several students boost their marks/elevate their predicted grade. I am a firm believer that lessons should fit the student, not that a student should fit my plans.

I have been tutoring for the last 3 years and I have recently finished a stint teaching in France. I use past papers to initially gauge a student's ability and then I can tailor different activities to their needs. My lessons typically last an hour but I can follow the needs of the student. I am in my final year of studying French and I have been primarily teaching GCSE students. My lessons will cover any elements of your GCSE or A Level French revision, whether that is in listening, reading, speaking or writing. I can go over any element within these four areas such as grammar, vocabulary or conversation practice. I have just finished a year abroad teaching French high school students English, so I am capable of teaching languages.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Emily enough. I was wanting to improve on the French I’d learnt years ago in school, and I came to Emily for tuition. She made me feel very comfortable in the lessons and explained everything so well. If I was ever confused she would find different ways to explain it and make sure I understood before moving on. I’m off to France this summer, excited to use the skills I’ve learnt from lessons with Emily! :)
