About Cillian

I was raised speaking Irish and English in tandem, spent every year of my childhood education in Irish speaking schools, and every summer in the Gaeltacht. so naturally from a young age I knew that not only did I want to be a teacher, but to teach my language in a way that makes it more accessible for new learners. German was a later realization in secondary school, however after that first class I knew it was something I wanted to pursue further to the point where I spent my 2024 living there!

About the lesson

currently employed by HomeTutors Ireland, experience studying abroad as well as in Gaeltachts at 3rd level. typical lesson length is 1 hour with the option of doubles on request.

I use an eclectic teaching method, primarily based in task based language teaching and communicative language teaching, incorporating the Direct methodology at higher levels of proficiency.

these lessons are available for secondary school students and older of any language ability.

Final Year student of German and Irish studies, offering grinds in those respective subjects at all levels.
