About Claire
I have taught a Music Psychology course with year 9 and Sixth-Form students over the last 2 years. As a PhD student I have been researching in the field of psychology for three years now and have a sound knowledge of both research methods and real-life applications of psychology (case studies). I have a background in musicology (a degree in music) and am a lover of the English Language.

I structure my sessions well and tend to over-prepare for lessons so that my students feel like they have been stretched. I set lesson objectives (agreed with pupils) and try to back up my teaching with as much evidence and as many useful references as possible. I am extremely friendly and have worked with pupils from a variety of backgrounds. I am a firm believer that all pupils should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and I consider this to be an important part of my role.
