About Will
I'm a final-year Medicine student at the University of Oxford with a passion for helping students build confidence in GCSE Biology and Chemistry. I have experience helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance in both subjects.
Having successfully navigated GCSEs, A-levels, medical school admissions, and five years of studying Medicine at Oxford, I understand the challenges students face and can offer practical strategies for effective revision and exam success. My goal is not only to help students achieve their academic goals but also to develop their confidence and become more independent learners.
One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is seeing a student progress from feeling unsure about a topic to genuinely understanding it. Whether you're aiming to build your confidence, achieve a higher grade, or prepare for upcoming exams, I'd be delighted to help you reach your goals.

Every student learns differently, so I begin by identifying their individual strengths, areas for improvement, and learning goals. I then tailor each session to their specific needs, whether that's mastering difficult concepts, improving exam technique, or building confidence ahead of assessments.
I aim to create a relaxed, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My lessons are engaging, accessible, and never intimidating, helping students develop a genuine understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising facts.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, which I find provides good balance between covering new material, practising questions, and addressing any areas of difficulty. However, I am happy to be flexible and can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student's needs.
