About Devishi

I am a final-year Law student at the University of Warwick, achieving A*AB at A-level on the Edexcel board and five 9s and three 8s at GCSE, including a 9 in Maths and an 8 in both English Literature and Language.

My GCSE English Language and Literature were examined under the Cambridge board, and I am fully comfortable teaching Maths across all major exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. I have a strong grasp of exam specifications and understand precisely what examiners are looking for, ensuring my students are thoroughly prepared to perform at their best.

Having previously tutored A-level Economics, I have helped students achieve A* and A grades, demonstrating a proven ability to make challenging material accessible and deliver tangible results. I take a patient, structured, and encouraging approach, breaking down complex concepts clearly and teaching students how to apply their knowledge effectively to exam questions. I tailor every session to the individual student's needs, learning style, and target grade, ensuring no student is left behind.

I am passionate about education and deeply committed to helping students reach their full academic potential. Whether a student is looking to consolidate their understanding, close gaps in knowledge, or push for the highest grades, I provide the targeted support and confidence they need to succeed.

About the lesson

Each session is planned in advance and tailored to the individual student's needs, ensuring focused and productive use of time. I prioritise building genuine conceptual understanding before teaching students how to apply that knowledge confidently under exam conditions. To consolidate progress, I set targeted homework after every session. I am flexible with scheduling and ensure students always have support between lessons, with any questions welcome via WhatsApp at any time. Sessions are one hour and available online.
