About Ryan
My name is Ryan and I am a 20 year old history student at Loughborough University in the midlands - in between Leicester and Nottingham. I have a huge passion for the subject and desire to make more people love history and find it as exciting and interesting as I do. In a years time I will graduate and go on to complete teacher training to eventually get paid to do something I thoroughly enjoy. I have had experience teaching, not just history, but in my time in the Combined Cadet Force, where I was giving the task of teaching military discipline and training to other cadets, on top of training themselves how to teach as well. I really love teaching and helping people understand things that they may find interesting, I understand that history is not for everyone but by developing history skills and thinking, the transferable skills can help in the majority of other essay-based subjects.

I have spent the past 7 years studying history at GCSE, A-level, and Degree level and have a huge passion for the subject, with a specialism in Cold War and African History. I am also about to start applying to become a teacher in the coming year. I will work with you at your own pace to make sure you understand how to write answers and essays at an appropriate level, and help you develop your answers using the requirements your specifications ask for, with a personal experience with Edexcel. I will help you develop your literacy and writing skills to help you achieve the spelling and grammar aspects of your answers, and further your ability in academic writing.
