About Miriam
Hi! My name is Miriam. I am in my final year at university, studying English, and I would love to help GCSE and A-level students achieve their English Literature and Language Goals. I offer online tutoring and help students to strengthen their work and increase their confidence in exams. I am particularly qualified to work with dyslexic students - for I am dyslexic myself - and have learnt how best to harness this to work in my favour during exams. I know that for dyslexic students, English is often the most daunting subject - but it doesn't have to be!

- English is about personal improvement. I like to work with the student's goals and their specific exam mark schemes to help them improve the quality of their work, whether it be close readings, 'compare' essays, language questions or creative writing! - Lessons typically last 45-50 minutes. - Available for GCSE and A-level students. - I have obtained two '9' grades in my English language and literature GCSEs, and an A* in my English A-level at Brighton College so I am very familiar with these exams and mark schemes. - I am currently at the best university for English studies, St Andrews, on track for a high first-class.
