About Ellie
I am an English Literature student at the University of Leeds. I have just completed my final year of study and beginning a MA in English Literature in September. I am a passionate, friendly and personable individual my research interests include modern and contemporary literature, postcolonial literature as well as literature. I possess an all rounded knowledge of literary movements ranging from the Renaissance to the present day.

My teaching method is based on the importance of close reading your primary texts. An understanding of how to effectively analyse the text itself forms the basis of your writing technique and is an invaluable skill. I aim improve these skills by working through the analysis of a short section of text, which is unseen, together as a method to point out transferable methods of forming interpretations of literary writing.
