About Elena
My teaching method entails the idea of recognizing the person first before their disability and that no two people with learning difficulties are the same. Therefore, a range of teaching techniques is required to adapt to the diverse learning needs of these students. I have implemented a range of evidence-based practices with my students such as visual aids, interactive lessons, and, dopamine hacking, all strategies that encourage participation in neurodivergent kids.

I am able to conduct essay writing, creative writing, speech, and general English lessons. While learning how to write an essay and facts is important, I take a different more holistic approach to learning. I use methods that suit the individual child such as organisational, reward-based tasks, and building momentum through little wins. I understand that each child has unique learning needs and that no two brains are alike, this is the core foundation of my teaching practice.
