About Joshua
I am a Film student studying in Glasgow with an Advanced Higher degree in English, looking to help others through their course. My current course covers a lot of creative and non-fiction writing elements as well as discussing deeper subtext and meaning in published work, while also trying to create it in our own work. I have also had a lot of theatre experience and I am well versed in most forms of text.

My teaching method is mainly discussion based, attempting to help the student come to their own conclusions to better develop their understanding of a text. My approach is to breakdown text top down, starting with larger themes and symbols that cover the whole text, to character analysis, to scene breakdowns, to language deconstruction.
