About Kavish

Hi! I'm Kavish, I've been playing & teaching chess since 2019. Something that started as a hobby has become an integral part of my life and it has now become my mission to cultivate this passion among youngsters.

To guide students in transforming their interest in chess into meaningful growth and, for those who aspire, a competitive or professional pathway, is my ultimate goal.

I have been described as a patient and kind coach by all of my clients. I encourage my students to ask a lot of questions. With 5+ years of experience playing and teaching chess, I’ve worked with multiple chess academies and have helped students of all ages and levels, sharpen their skills. I've participated in 15+ FIDE rated tournaments and have developed a practical intuition for the game, which I love sharing with my students.

FIDE : 1548 in Classical, 1532 in Rapid & 1556 in Blitz.

About the lesson

I offer hourly online sessions on both weekdays and weekends, 2 sessions per week.
You can choose either Group sessions, with up to 5 kids in a group, Individual sessions or Twin sessions.

All sessions are conducted over Google Meet, and I use Lichess.org and Chess.com to provide an interactive classroom experience. Weekly Assignments are provided to track progress.

Apart from the sessions, I conduct Weekly tournaments among the students.
Weekly progress reports are provided based on the performance in these tournaments and the Assignments.

I speak Hindi, English and Spanish, so feel free to choose the language you’re most comfortable with.
