About Vishwa
I'm a FIDE-rated chess player and I founded Checkmate Scholars Academy. I've been coaching for several years, mostly beginners and improving juniors — from learning the pieces through to a solid FIDE rated chess player.
My approach is structured rather
than general. I work from your actual games, find the specific pattern that's costing you points, and give you a defined plan to fix it. One idea per session, drilled until it holds, then checked against your next games.

About the lesson

As soon as you enroll with me, a detailed curriculum and weekly puzzles will be provided based on the week's agenda. The coaching will take place either online via Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet or in person if based in Cork.
I strongly believe, just having puzzles would not help a student to be their best version, hence weekly games and analysis will be conducted alongside playing tournaments and psychology and mindset tips will be provided to make a person calm even in difficult situations.

An opening repertoire you can explain, not just recall
