About Shakhruz
Hi, I’m Shakhruz Sattorov, a FIDE Candidate Master (CM) and professional chess coach.
Chess has been my passion and my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Uzbekistan—one of the world's most dominant chess nations—I trained at the highest competitive levels. My dedication to the game led me to achieve major milestones early in my career, including:
National Champion of Uzbekistan (U15)
Top 5 Finish at the Western Asian Tournament (U15)
FIDE Candidate Master (CM) Title
My Teaching PhilosophyIn 2019, as the pandemic began, I transitioned my competitive experience into a full-time passion for coaching. Since then, I have helped students worldwide unlock their potential, climb the ratings ladder, and truly understand the beauty of chess.I don't believe in forced memorisation. Because I have competed and won at an international level, I teach my students how to think like a titled player.
Together, we will dissect your games, eliminate blunders, build a robust opening repertoire, and sharpen your tactical vision. Whether you are a complete beginner trying to understand the board or an intermediate player aiming for a tournament breakthrough, I am here to guide you step-by-step.
