About Ruby
Hi! My name is Ruby.
I’m a student about to embark on my degree in Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford.
I have achieved A’s and A*’s in my time completing my A-Levels, and similar grades at GCSE. This was all despite needing some extra support.
I want to help inspire confidence in other students so that they can also reach their potential and achieve the best grades possible that will allow them to do what they want in the future, whatever that may be.
Topics I specialise within GCSE’s are:
- English Language Paper 1 and 2
- English Literature - Love and Relationship Poetry, A Christmas Carol, Macbeth, An Inspector Calls.
- Religious Studies - Christianity, Sikhism, Ethics and Values.

I offer online lessons of typically lasting one hour. My tutoring specialises in helping students understand content, getting familiar with exam layouts and increasing confidence. My lessons are mainly for secondary school students approaching their GCSE’s (age 11 to 16). I can specialise and tailor lessons to all learning levels. Every lesson is completed in a kind and gentle manner that aims to make students feel more confident in their abilities.
