About Darolyn
I have been playing the drums for 10 years and have completed my Grade 8 certification. Drumming has been a big part of my life, and I want to share the skills and experience I have gained with others. I enjoy helping students discover the excitement of playing music and seeing their confidence grow as they improve. As a teacher, I aim to be patient, encouraging and adaptable, creating a comfortable environment where students can learn at their own pace while still being challenged to progress. Most importantly, I want my students to genuinely enjoy drumming and look forward to every lesson.

Mandarin
Lessons are personalised to each student’s age, ability and musical goals. Students will develop strong foundations in technique, rhythm, timing, coordination and drum notation, while also learning to play songs they enjoy. Complete beginners will be guided step by step, while more experienced students can work on advanced techniques, musicality and performance skills. I can also provide focused preparation for graded drum examinations. My lessons are structured but engaging, with an emphasis on building confidence and making steady progress. Students can learn in the comfort of their own home, as I am able to travel to them, or choose online lessons for greater flexibility.
