About Hannah
I’m a professional French–English translator, writer and university teacher with 14 years of experience working with language at the highest professional level. I hold an MA in Translation and currently teach Master’s students at the University of Strasbourg. My translations have been published by Big Five publishers, and I'm represented by a literary agency for my own writing, too. What I genuinely enjoy most, though, is meeting new people and helping them thrive.

I'm obsessed with my mother tongue, and I really hope it shows. I aim to create lessons that feel friendly, practical and tailored to each student’s goals, using conversation, real-world examples and personalised feedback to help students develop confidence and communicate naturally, while adapting the balance of speaking, writing, grammar and correction to their individual needs.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are held online. I teach students from beginner to advanced level, including adults and university students, and can support French, English, writing and translation.
Up your fluency in a relaxed but goal-focused atmosphere and take your written and spoken English to the next level: I’ll build lessons around what you actually want to achieve and help you get there.
