I like a bottom down approach of learning with a teaching method that makes topics meaningful and applicable. Jumping into a dense topic is never exciting so I like to find case studies of related research or articles about whatever process or object I am studying. Doing this allows me to understand the “so what” aspect of the topic and makes it easier to dissect the moving parts.
