About Cassandra

I taught ELA and Creative Writing at the middle school level for 7 years the the Detroit area and love tutoring now! I've lived in Michigan my whole life and grew up in a very Italian family. I've been tutoring for just about a year since the pandemic started. And I have to say, I just love my students! I believe every child has the right to learn and succeed in an environment that is suited just for them! During my time as a teacher I had the highest test scores on standardized tests in my school year after year. I love kids of all ages and have tutored students K-12. Want to hear some fun facts about me? I love to sing and sometimes I even pose as a Disney Princess at birthday parties! :) I Can't wait meet you and get to know you to know you!

About the lesson

I love to make things fun and exciting for every student that I tutor. I believe it's my priority to make students feel safe and comfortable with me in order to help them with skills that they are lacking and improve on the skills they already excel in. My approach to teaching is to form a great relationship with every child and give them the incentives and confidence they need to succeed. My goal is to be the teacher that I always wanted. :)
