About Alexander
I am a fashion designer and sales professional. My experience varies from fashion design, retail, showroom, styling and private clienteling. Graduated from London College of Fashion in Fashion Design & Technology Womenswear, during that time, I worked for private showrooms, like Alphabet, Vetements, Tomorrow Crew, while I was studying. Previously, I studied In Rome, Haute Couture and Art of Costume in “Koefia” which is a very based course on High Fashion. Before that, I studied briefly In The Fashion Department in Antwerp Belgium, where most of the biggest designers graduated, like The SIX of Antwerp, Martin Margiela, Demna Gvasalia (Balenciaga) RAF Simons…. I interned for few different brands and worked Part time and also full time for Luxury brands like Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and also for Harrods, Selfridges and different boutiques. I worked and helped styling and learned the importance of clients, networking, and had a chance to see the 360 degrees in the fashion world.

I have an extensive background in fashion. The word ‘fashion’ is a very generic word, therefore, I will guide the students throughout the experiences I have been through with practical advice towards their growth. FASHION DESIGN: - first approach to fashion -Understanding your style - inspiration - colour palette and research - building a silhouette - trends - positioning in the market - fabrics - finishes - developing a CONCEPT - importance of flat drawing - What Is DIFFERENT? - How can I be DIFFERENT? - building a team RETAIL - positioning in the market - structure of a luxury shop and how it operates - product and pricing -importance in clienteling and follow up - smart working - different brand-different expectations - pricing - logistics and back of house SHOWROOMS - structure of a showroom - fashion weeks and hosting buyers - meeting clients - fulfilling orders - What’s a season - orders and follow up STYLING - what is style and what is a stylist - concept building - story to cover - photoshoots and model search - social media - magazines and online - building a network Also other topics could be: - Fashion direction - where do I FIT in the fashion world? - is it design ? Pattern- making ? - press ? Merchandising ? Retail? PR &Events ? Showrooms ? Styling ? - how do I build my confidence ? - what is success ? Each lesson would go in specific based on student level. Guidance on their projects, homework, or simply on how and where to start. NOTICE: I am not going to teach sewing or pattern- making- or programs!
