About Leah
I am a passionate Chemistry tutor with over four years of teaching experience and an MSc in Analytical Chemistry. I enjoy helping students understand chemistry in a clear, meaningful, and practical way. My special interest lies in the chemistry of natural products and biomolecules found in living systems. I love exploring secondary metabolites, natural dyes, flavors, and other biologically active compounds that give nature its chemical diversity. My teaching approach in Chemistry is structured, supportive, and focused on real understanding. I teach school and university Chemistry with strong emphasis on AP Chemistry exam preparation. Lessons cover physical chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, equilibrium, and electrochemistry. I break complex theories into simple, logical steps so students can clearly see how concepts connect. For problem-solving, I train students to think methodically and apply formulas with confidence.
I use targeted drills and regular practice tests to strengthen weak areas and improve speed and accuracy. Experimental analysis is a key part of my method, where students learn to interpret data, graphs, and lab-based questions correctly. I also integrate real-world examples, including public health and epidemiology-related chemical applications, to deepen understanding. Each session is interactive and goal-oriented.
I closely track progress and adjust strategies based on individual needs. Exam-style questions are practiced consistently to build familiarity and reduce stress. I focus on high-score strategies while ensuring strong conceptual clarity. My goal is not just good marks, but confident performance on exam day.
