About Ophelia
As a violin tutor with 14 years of experience, I have successfully taught around 300 students from different age groups, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching approach is based on patience, flexibility, and encouragement, as I believe every student learns in their own way.
I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone production, while also encouraging students to enjoy music and express themselves. I design lessons based on each student’s level and goals to ensure steady progress.
One of my key achievements is helping students overcome challenges and build confidence in their playing. My goal is to make learning violin both enjoyable and effective.

I teach violin with a focus on communication, individualized guidance, and practical learning experiences. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals to ensure both technical and expressive skills are developed effectively.
Lessons cover posture, bowing, fingering, tone production, intonation, phrasing, and expressive playing while encouraging creativity and interpretation. I incorporate real-life examples such as performing favorite pieces, learning with accompaniment, and understanding music’s emotional impact to make lessons meaningful.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide a well-rounded musical education. My goal is to create an encouraging, structured, and enjoyable learning environment where students gain confidence and progress steadily.
