About Aimee
With 6 years of experience as a violin tutor, I have had the privilege of teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe every student is unique, and my teaching philosophy focuses on understanding their individual strengths and goals. I emphasise technical mastery, music reading, sight-reading, and expressive performance while preparing students for recitals, competitions, and concerts.
Over 200 students have studied under my guidance, achieving success and confidence on stage. My lessons balance discipline with creativity, ensuring steady progress while keeping students inspired and engaged.

My teaching methodology is rooted in compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe learning the violin should be both enjoyable and confidence-building, so I create lessons tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style. My aim is to make every lesson engaging, motivating, and meaningful.
I use step-by-step explanations, demonstrations, and interactive exercises to help students master techniques and understand musical concepts. Students are encouraged to ask questions, actively participate, and explore their creativity, fostering both technical skills and musical expression.
Being supportive is central to my approach. I celebrate achievements, provide constructive guidance, and guide students through challenges with patience and encouragement. Lessons are designed to balance technical skill, creativity, and personal growth, developing confident, independent learners.
In addition to violin, I teach other subjects with the same compassionate and communicative methodology, nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning and music.
