About Kobe
With 6 years of professional teaching experience, I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor who has guided nearly 150 students through different stages of learning. I believe encouragement and direction together create the best learning results.
My teaching style is encouraging, structured, and student-focused. I make sure students understand what they are learning and why it matters. Lessons focus on breathing technique, tone quality, finger accuracy, rhythm control, and musical expression.
I adapt lessons according to student comfort and goals. I also give clear practice instructions so students know exactly how to improve between lessons.
What makes my teaching unique is my ability to motivate students while giving clear direction. My aim is to help students grow confidently and enjoy their musical journey with the saxophone.

I teach saxophone with a methodology focused on adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I recognise that every student has a unique learning style, so I design lessons tailored to their pace, style, and goals, combining demonstration, listening, and hands-on exercises.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson plans, exercises, and repertoire based on progress and motivation, keeping lessons engaging and inspiring. Collaboration encourages students to actively participate, explore improvisation, and contribute creative ideas, building both confidence and skill.
I maintain a positive and supportive environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges become opportunities to grow. Lessons cover saxophone techniques, musical expression, improvisation, performance skills, and theory, providing a well-rounded musical foundation.
In addition to saxophone, I teach related subjects including sight-reading, ensemble performance, ear training, and music theory. My aim is to develop versatile, confident musicians with a lifelong love for music.
