About Callie
I am a passionate singing tutor with 6 years of teaching and work experience helping school and college students develop their vocal skills. Music has always been an important part of my life, and teaching allows me to share that passion with students who want to improve their singing. Over the years, I have guided many learners who started with very basic knowledge of music. With regular practice, encouragement, and the right techniques, they gradually improved their voice and became more confident singers.
Some of my students have gone on to perform in school concerts, college cultural events, and music competitions. Seeing them achieve these milestones has been one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey. My lessons focus on important vocal techniques such as breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm understanding, and voice clarity. I also encourage students to understand the meaning and emotion behind the songs they sing so they can perform with expression. My goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and enjoy their musical journey.

My teaching style for singing is built on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and organised time management to help students grow as confident and expressive performers. I begin by assessing each student’s vocal range, abilities, and learning style so I can design lessons that meet their specific needs. Lessons focus on breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, pitch accuracy, tone improvement, and articulation to strengthen the voice.
Creativity is emphasised because singing is a form of artistic expression, and I encourage students to explore various styles and emotional interpretations of songs. Understanding each student’s challenges allows me to provide personalised guidance and encouragement, helping them overcome difficulties with patience and care. I structure lessons carefully so students can balance technical training, song practice, and performance preparation within each session. Beyond singing, I also offer guidance in rhythm exercises, music basics, and stage presence to help students feel confident performing in front of others.
