About Kayla
Over the years, I've learned that students enjoy guitar more when lessons connect with the music they love. I like helping learners build skills while also encouraging creativity and personal expression.
With a Music Degree and 8 years of teaching experience, I've worked with beginners and adult students with different interests and learning styles. These experiences have helped me become patient and flexible in my teaching.
I enjoy celebrating every achievement, whether it's learning a first song or improving a challenging technique. Seeing students enjoy their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching guitar.

During my guitar lessons, I help students enjoy the instrument while building skills that they can use in real songs. Each class is adjusted to your level, interests, and musical goals, so learning feels comfortable and enjoyable.
We'll practise chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle playing, rhythm guitar, picking techniques, lead guitar skills, improvisation, songwriting basics, and music theory. We can work on favourite songs, improve difficult sections, or explore creative ways to make your playing more interesting.
I'll provide simple practice ideas, regular feedback, and clear goals to support your progress. Over time, you'll become more confident with the guitar and enjoy creating your own music.
