About Michael

I'm a Master of Cybersecurity student at QUT with 20 years experience in the industry. I’m a senior DevOps Eng, Cybersecurity expert, programmer, and educator. I founded Upload Academy and The DevOps Lounge.

I started out programming when I was 11/12, eventually got into web development, then networking engineering, and finally Linux. Over the course of many years, I've worked for large and small organisations, governments, across three countries, using a massive array of technologies. I know what businesses want in an engineer, so that’s what I teach.

About the lesson

I can assist you with Python, Go, JavaScript programming. I can also assist you with networking problems such as understanding TCP/IP, UDP, HTTPS, DNS, how the Internet works, public Cloud like AWS and Azure, and a lot more. I've been using Linux since 1998, so I know it very well, which means I can help you understand it.

But why me? I bring 20 years of real-world experience to the table so that you’ve got everything you need to ace your next exam; complete your assignment(s); and understand unit materials. I take a hands on, practical approach to the subjects you want assistance with until you understand it completely. We can also look at real-world examples of how technologies apply to a commercial environment.

If you need help with a group assignment, I'm happy to have meetings with you and your group at no extra charge.
