I am a former Military Police Officer with a distinguished academic background and a commitment to fostering excellence in writing. My educational achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Social Sciences with minors in Psychology and Sociology, a Master’s in Criminal Justice, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy in Criminal Justice. Currently, I am pursuing a second Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, further broadening my expertise in supporting individuals academically and professionally. Throughout my career, I have developed deep experience in both professional and academic writing. My expertise includes guiding the development of theses, capstone projects, dissertations, research papers, essays, and professional resumes. This method not only produces stronger results but also teaches lifelong writing skills. Typical 1-Hour Lesson Outline 1. Introduction & Goal Setting (10 minutes) - Review the student’s objectives for the session. - Discuss the assignment, prompt, or topic at hand. - Clarify specific areas of concern (e.g., structure, research, or style). 2. Guided Development (25 minutes) - Work through brainstorming, outlining, or drafting together. - I offer prompts, ask questions, and provide real-time feedback to help clarify arguments and refine organization. - Emphasis on teaching techniques for research, citation, or effective phrasing. 3. Active Application (20 minutes) - The student actively applies what we’ve discussed by working on their draft, refining their thesis, or organizing sections while I provide support as needed. - Focus on building their independence and confidence. 4.
