About Finn

Hi, I’m a 4th-year dental student at King’s College London, and I’ve also achieved the position of Dental Officer Cadet in the Navy – a role only two people secure each year. Beyond my academic career in dentistry, I’m deeply passionate about education and helping students unlock their potential.

Throughout my own academic journey, I’ve realised the power of having the right guidance and support. I’ve been fortunate to tutor students who have achieved outstanding results, from guiding a GCSE student to attain all 8s and 9s, to helping children secure places at top schools like St. Dunstan’s through the 11+ exams. I specialise in subjects like non-verbal reasoning, mathematics, and critical thinking exams such as the UCAT and DAA.

Teaching is more than just a job for me; it’s a way to give back, share my knowledge, and help others succeed. I understand the challenges students face, and I believe that with the right strategies and encouragement, anyone can achieve their goals. My aim is to inspire confidence, make complex concepts easier to understand, and help you reach your full potential.

About the lesson

As a third-year dental student at King’s College London and a Dental Officer Cadet in the Navy, I offer specialized tutoring in UCAT, 11+, and GCSE subjects. With a strong background in critical thinking exams like UCAT and DAA, I have a particular focus on non-verbal reasoning and mathematics. I have successfully tutored students to achieve top grades (8s and 9s) in their GCSEs, as well as helped students gain admission to prestigious schools such as St. Dunstan’s.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s unique needs, whether they need support in mastering exam techniques, developing critical thinking, or improving their confidence in specific subjects. I aim to make learning engaging, structured, and result-oriented, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.

Excellent! Josh really enjoyed his class with Finn - we tried a few online tutors and Finn was his favourite! Even though the lesson was pitched a bit hard for him, Finn was patient and encouraged him when he found things a challenge.
