About Rory
I am a Physics tutor with more than 8 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 480 students. I enjoy helping learners discover how scientific principles explain the world around us while building strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Many students initially struggle with Physics because of the combination of mathematical calculations and conceptual reasoning. My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex topics into manageable steps so learners can build confidence gradually and develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
Through personalised instruction, structured lesson plans, and continuous support, I help students improve grades, strengthen scientific reasoning, and achieve success in assignments, examinations, and future academic pursuits. My Physics lessons focus on helping students understand scientific principles through conceptual learning, derivations, practical examples, and extensive numerical problem-solving exercises. I teach Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Waves, Modern Physics, and Applied Physics using structured teaching methods that simplify difficult concepts and improve understanding.
Students learn how theoretical concepts relate to real-world applications while strengthening analytical thinking and scientific reasoning abilities. Lessons include derivation practice, numerical exercises, laboratory understanding, assignment support, revision planning, and examination preparation. My goal is to ensure students not only memorise formulas but also understand the scientific principles behind them.
I encourage active participation, questioning, and logical analysis during lessons. Through guided problem-solving sessions and practical explanations, students develop confidence in handling both conceptual and numerical Physics questions while improving overall academic performance.
