About Ivy
I am a dedicated Physics instructor with 10 years of teaching experience and a BA in Physics. My focus is on making complex ideas simple and meaningful for students at different levels. I specialise in particle physics and enjoy explaining the behaviour of subatomic particles in clear and engaging ways. Concepts like quarks, leptons, and fundamental forces are taught using visual explanations and relatable analogies. This helps students move beyond memorisation and truly understand what is happening at the smallest scales.

My teaching approach in Physics is systematic, clear, and focused on deep understanding. I break down complex macroscopic behaviours into simple, logical steps so students can follow easily. Each topic is connected to real-world examples to make learning meaningful. I cover key areas such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, gas laws, and energy systems. I also include concepts like kinetic theory, thermal equilibrium, calorimetry, and phase changes.
I enjoy working with experiments and practical setups to make abstract ideas more visible. Simple demonstrations and creative problem-solving techniques help students stay engaged. I guide students to think critically and not just memorise formulas. Regular practice questions and assignments are included to strengthen understanding.
Consistent feedback is an important part of my teaching. I carefully track progress and adjust methods based on student needs. I support learners at every step so they can perform better in exams and assignments. My goal is to help students build strong concepts and gain confidence in Physics.
