About Ivy
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold an MPhil in Chemistry. My teaching goes beyond traditional chemistry—I take a holistic and interdisciplinary approach that connects chemistry with art and cultural heritage preservation. I focus on topics like pigment analysis, material degradation, and conservation treatments. This allows students to see chemistry’s role in protecting priceless artworks. My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on clear understanding and practical application. I cover key topics such as acid-base chemistry, pH calculations, titration, and buffer solutions. I believe learning is strongest when theory meets real-world problems. That’s why I emphasize problem-solving in every lesson.
I guide students step by step through chemical equilibrium and related calculations. This helps build their confidence and skills in handling complex questions. With experience as a researcher and Olympiad contestant, I bring a deep understanding of challenging concepts. I use examples and exercises that prepare students for exams and contests.
