About David
A recent graduate with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Russian with English Literature degree. I can help your son or daughter with their English, Maths, Spanish and Russian, as well as entrance exams and university applications. I achieved A*, A*, A, A in my own A-Levels - and a 1st in the Literature component of my degree. In addition to my experiences as a student I have four years' of teaching experience under my belt in the private sector. I held a full DBS during this time. My story started in Zimbabwe where I grew up the son of missionary parents. Our lack of a working TV helped foster a love for books. The next chapter involved a three year stint in Chile where I developed a knack for languages and high-performance swimming. Most recently, I spent a year in Russia, coaching and rowing for Saint Petersburg State University. My 23-year world tour over, and a career on my mind, I am tutoring to support myself as I apply to some of the world's top law firms. I had the pleasure of working alongside David as Academic Managee while he was Centre manager for a language school. During a 2 month period I found David to be motivational, considering and a strong leader. He demonstrated excellent communication and relationship building with both staff and students.
