About Alexander
I am an Ivy League graduate with a strong academic foundation and a lifelong passion for STEM education. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering and completed my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where I am currently conducting research in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. I will soon be pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. My academic rigor began in high school, where I completed an extensive curriculum of AP and IB courses, including AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, and AP US History. I was twice recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and earned the AP International Diploma for exemplary performance across multiple disciplines, as well as being nominated as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student. As a tutor, I have worked extensively with elementary and middle school students, specializing in STEM subjects. My approach is personalized and engaging, designed to foster both understanding and enthusiasm. I infuse my sessions with energy and positivity, ensuring students feel supported and motivated. Beyond academics, I am readily available for mentorship, offering guidance to help students reach their full potential in all areas of their lives.

My teaching method is centered on ensuring students develop a strong foundational and conceptual understanding before diving into practice examples.
