About Wendy
I am a Guitar tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 780 students. My mission is to help learners build confidence, technical ability, creativity, and performance skills while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.
Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers and aspiring professionals. This experience allows me to adapt lessons effectively to different learning styles, goals, and musical interests.
I believe music education should be enjoyable, inspiring, and practical. Students make the greatest progress when they feel supported, challenged, and motivated throughout their learning journey. My lessons are designed to create this balance while encouraging continuous growth.

My Guitar lessons are designed to help students become technically skilled, musically confident, and creatively expressive performers. I teach Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar, Improvisation, Ear Training, Music Theory, Song Interpretation, and Performance Preparation through a practical and structured learning system.
Students begin by developing strong fundamentals including rhythm accuracy, timing, chord transitions, posture, hand positioning, finger coordination, and strumming techniques. These skills provide the foundation required for long-term growth and advanced musical development.
As students advance, lessons incorporate solo construction, improvisation, advanced chord voicings, fingerstyle arrangements, songwriting concepts, stylistic versatility, and performance interpretation. Practical learning through songs, exercises, and performance projects helps students apply concepts effectively.
I integrate theory directly into performance-based activities so students understand scales, harmony, chord construction, and musical structure while learning how to use these concepts creatively. This approach develops independent musicians who understand music deeply.
Personalized practice plans, performance coaching, and regular progress reviews help students improve consistently while maintaining motivation and enthusiasm for learning.
